Katy Legacy Luxury Rental Homes

Katy Legacy is the worst place to live! The houses look great on the outside and I’m sure whatever “special” they have going on sounds great. It’s not. Prepare yourself for the WORST living experience. It’s not even the homes that make it such an unbearable experience, it’s the absolute TRASH management that can’t seem to do anything except give tours and get people to sign a contract they wouldn’t sign themselves. As if they have any business adding more tenants to their long list of grievances from the current ones.

Please read the recent reviews before signing a lease at Katy Legacy. I've lived here since November 2023, and my experience has steadily gotten worse. When I first moved in, the community seemed like a good value. Today, it is nowhere close to the "luxury gated community" it advertises itself to be. The entrance and exit gates are frequently broken, but the biggest issue is the water. For years, I've dealt with poor water quality, heavy sediment and scale buildup, low water pressure, and recurring hot water issues.

We moved into the community in December 2024. Overall, it's a nice community, but our experience has had its share of challenges. During our time here, we dealt with sediment in the water, recurring A/C issues, and field mice getting into the home despite paying for pest control services. One of the biggest difficulties was the frequent management turnover—we experienced three different management changes while living here. The second management team, in particular, left us seriously considering moving out.
