Alta City Side

We toured Alta Cityside today and unfortunately had a very disappointing first impression. When we entered the leasing office, the Assistant Property Manager, Kennedy Stoddard, made eye contact with us but never acknowledged us. There was no greeting, no “I’ll be with you shortly,” or any indication that someone would be helping us. After waiting for more than 10 minutes without any communication, we approached her to ask whether someone would be available within the next 15 minutes so we could decide whether to continue waiting.

From the beginning of the application process, it felt like no one was interested in helping or providing clear communication. I often had to follow up multiple times just to get updates, and the customer service was consistently unresponsive and unhelpful. Applying for an apartment can already be stressful, and instead of feeling supported, I felt like I was left to figure everything out on my own. Communication was poor throughout the process, and I never felt like my questions or concerns were a priority.

**ETA** I have to mention two downsides to living here: 1. The package room is a DISASTER. There should be assigned locked lockers like I had at my old place, but no, it’s a complete free for all. I’ve had so many packages lost or stolen from here that it’s ridiculous. 2. Parking. You’re allowed to have as many guests park here overnight as you want which naturally creates an overflow that is inconvenient. Spots marked as “compact” are filled by large SUVs and management doesn’t care.
